About. Photographer in Bologna, Firenze, Venezia Alexandra Kukushkina

I was born on February 4th, 1988. In my teens I chose “hard and exact science” as my professional area. So I graduated in Physics, but it didn’t become my profession: just because it didn’t allow me to show my creativity.

I soon realized that only my hobby – photography – let me express my aesthetic vision fully. So my career path as a photographer ‘officially’ began in 2007, and I'm blessed that my hobby transformed into my profession. To deepen my skills in visual arts and photography, I attended some courses and workshops.

But the desire to widen my horizons and to live in a country of authentic beauty forced me to move in Italy. So I moved to the beautiful city of Bologna, and I have been living in the “Bel Paese” since 2016.

In all these years, I tried different genres of photography: love story, reportage, portrait photography. And since 2015 I also work as interior and food photographer. I often collaborate with organizations of events and ceremonies.

After having tried different working experiences, I realized that weddings are the most touching and heartwarming events to be photographed. Deep inside of me, I feel very honored and privileged to document that special day full of laughs and tears, when they said: “Yes, I do”.

That’s why I adore my job with all my heart.
